Why I Get Up Early to Work Out

The alarm goes off, and before the world wakes up I’m up. This is my hour. My time. The quiet before the chaos.

This early morning workout isn’t just about fitness. It’s the anchor that keeps both my mind and body solid so I can tackle everything else in my day. It fuels me to give my best to my family, to show up fully for my clients, and deal with life’s craziness!

Because the truth is, life throws plenty at us. And when I’m physically and mentally strong, I can handle it all. I can be the best version of me for whatever comes my way.

And here’s the shift I want you to think about:

  • It’s not “I have to move my body.” It’s “I GET to move my body.”

  • It’s not “I don’t have time.” It’s “Fitting in this time makes me better equipped for life.”

We tell our kids moving their bodies is important. But are we showing them the same with our actions?

Today, I hit 900 classes at my gym and I’m pretty damn proud of that. Not just for the number, but for the consistency, the grit, and the proof that putting yourself first isn’t selfish… it’s necessary.

So tomorrow, when that alarm goes off, don’t ask “Why am I doing this?”

Remind yourself: Because I get to. Because this time makes me stronger. Because I’m worth it.
